WHS is well known throughout the UK as the developer of the hydrological tools and techniques used in environmental assessments. We are passionate about using our national credibility and robust analytical skills to help our clients realise their development ambitions. We have had a number of recent successes in negotiating with regulators to help achieve outline planning or environmental consents related to the water environment, including expert witness support at public inquiry.

Even when WHS has been asked to assist clients at a relatively late stage in planning, our work has led to the removal of objections from regulators and the achievement of outline planning consent.
