TAN 15: Nine Months On

The March 2025 update to TAN 15 introduced major changes to flood-risk planning in Wales, including the new Flood Map for Planning, flexible justification tests, and added categories like Defended Zones and Water Compatible developments.

While these updates offer greater flexibility, some ambiguities remain—clarification is expected in an FAQ from the Welsh Government soon.
