Your role in a nutshell:

I am based in the Cardiff office where I work on various projects including flood risk and other hydrological assessments and hydraulic modelling.

When you joined WHS: 2023

Your experience:

I graduated from Brunel University London in 2020 with an MSC in Water Engineering MSc. I also obtained a MSc in Sustainable Water Environments from the University of Glasgow in 2023. My dissertation for the latter MSc focused on monitoring and modelling river systems to predict changes in flow dynamics due to land use and climate change. Since starting at WHS, I have expanded my knowledge and is gaining further experience in hydraulic modelling and hydrological assessments.

Why you like working for WHS:

Being a part of a small and functional team gives me the opportunity to be involved and work on a variety of projects from inception through to the end. I am also able to learn from my colleagues who are experts in their respective areas.

What drives you:

I am an environmental enthusiast with a keen interest in water resources. So, the opportunity to expand my expertise and to be able to address some of the challenges surrounding water resources really motivates me.

What you like doing when not working:

I enjoy traveling, working out and a bit of running. I also recently started flying drones and spend a bit of my free time taking practice flights.
