In WINFAP 5.3, when the 2008 method is selected, the user may select to use the small catchment methods when the catchment is larger than 40km2.

The 2008 method recommends that the small catchment methods is used when the catchment area is less than 25km². If the catchment is less than 40km² the user may opt to use this method. Above 40km² the method should NOT be used. At present the user can select to use the small catchments method even if the area is greater than 40km².
