Your role in a nutshell:
I provide support on a wide range of projects, mainly surrounding hydrology and flood risk assessments, as well as conducting fieldwork for environmental sensitivity studies.
When you joined WHS: 2025
Your experience:
I joined WHS after graduating from the University of Bristol with a BSc in Geography. My dissertation was a study which interrogated long term flow component trends and drought event characteristics on the upper River Wye.
Why you like working for WHS:
The close-knit and versatile nature of the Cardiff office means I have a great mentoring network. I have been able to learn continuously by drawing on their vast experience and wide-ranging knowledge.
What drives you:
I have always been passionate about the environment, specifically the water environment, and the projects we work on allows me to have a positive, tangible impact on the things I am passionate about.
What you like doing when not working:
My main activities outside of work are keeping healthy and playing sports. I have always had a keen interest in fishing, birdwatching and generally spending time outdoors.
