How are flow statistics calculated when both Local Data Gauges and lakes are present within an ungauged catchment?

Please see the User Guide for guidance on how the flow duration curve is adjusted when either Local Data Gauges or lakes are present within a catchment. Where both Local Data Gauges and lakes are present then, if the User selects to use Local Data Gauges in the estimation procedure, the lake adjustment algorithm will only be applied when lakes are downstream of the Local Data Gauge catchment. This ensures that the impact of lakes on the flow statistics are not accounted for twice within the flow estimation procedure.
