Contact number: 0292 1113709
Your role in a nutshell:
I work on a variety of projects including flood risk assessments, environmental impact assessments, GIS, and fieldwork.
When you joined WHS: 2024
Your experience:
I recently completed an MSc in Sustainable Water Management at Lancaster University with my dissertation focussing on the use of MODFLOW 6 to model groundwater flowpaths through a trial denitrifying woodchip permeable reactive barrier at a research site in New Zealand. I also had the opportunity to teach first year undergraduate students a range of hydrometric flow gauging techniques in streams in the Yorkshire Dales.
Why you like working for WHS:
I enjoy the range of projects within the water environment I get to work on and the different parts of the project lifecycle I’m involved in.
What drives you:
I want to be able to be continually learning and engaging with environmental issues, particularly in the water environment.
What you like doing when not working:
I started playing ultimate frisbee in 2021 at university and recently joined a club in Cardiff! When I’m not running around in circles after a frisbee I like reading, playing video games, and meeting up with my friends.
