Your role in a nutshell: Responsible for building, enhance and maintaining software within the software team.

When you joined WHS: 2023

Your experience: I completed an apprenticeship in software development and been working in the software field for over 4 years. Before joining WHS, I worked at a web agency building a range of websites and software for charities, SMBs and enterprises.

Why you like working for WHS: I have always had an interest in geology and hydrology, as I am increasingly aware of changing environment and the need to understand and how to adapt technology to improve thing for the better. By working with a small, hard working team, which has a vary of backgrounds that support each other we are able to complete this goal.

What drives you: Learning how to create things whilst learning the changing world of software. It feels like I learn something new or how I can develop existing code in a different way every day.

What you like doing when not working: I am a avid PC gamer but I also like to get out and about, mainly to go kayaking on my local rivers and canals. I also like doing landscape photography on my walks through the countryside.
